الصبي ومالك الحزين [بلو-راي + دي في دي]

The special features are a real treat for Ghibli fans, with the storyboards giving you a whole new appreciation for Miyazaki's process. I watched the Blu-ray twice in one weekend, and the colors in that dreamlike tower sequence just pop off the screen.

The 4K transfer is absolutely stunning—the watercolors and textures pop like I’m seeing the film fresh in theaters again. The included Blu-ray and DVD make it easy to share with family who don’t have a 4K player yet, which sealed the deal for me.

The special features alone are worth it—the storyboard-to-film comparisons let you see exactly how Miyazaki’s vision came together. My kids and I have watched the Japanese track with subtitles twice, and the sound mix really pulls you into that eerie, beautiful world.
