بيردبوي: الأطفال المنسيون [بلو راي + دي في دي]

The restoration on this Blu-ray is gorgeous—the hand-drawn animation really pops against the grim, island setting. Dinky’s desperation to escape feels painfully real, and the included DVD copy is a nice bonus for lending out. I’ve watched it twice already and the bleakness somehow makes the flickers

The way this film balances its bleak, post-apocalyptic setting with moments of genuine beauty is something else, and the two-disc Blu-ray+DVD combo means I can finally lend a copy to my friend who hasn't upgraded yet. The artwork on the case alone sets the mood perfectly before you even press play.

The restoration on this Blu-ray really brings out the hand-drawn textures and the muted, melancholic palette of the island. Dinky’s desperate escape plan kept me hooked, and the extra DVD copy means I can lend it to a friend without losing my main disc.
