The hand-drawn animation is so rich and detailed it feels like flipping through a painted storybook, and the sweeping desert landscapes really transport you. My four-year-old was mesmerized by the young boy's journey with the giraffe, and I found myself equally hooked by the historical adventure.
Bought this to show my kids a beautifully drawn film that isn't all CGI, and the sweeping hand-drawn landscapes of Africa and Paris really transport you. The voices are charming and the story about the giraffe's journey to France feels like a classic adventure tale, the kind they don't make anymore.
The story of the first giraffe to visit France is such a charming, old-fashioned adventure, and the hand-drawn animation gives it a beautiful, classic look that you just don't see anymore. It's a lovely film to watch with the family, and the picture quality on this Blu-ray is crisp enough to really
