Grace H. ★★★★★

The Blu-ray transfer is gorgeous—the warm tones of the 1963 Yokohama scenes really pop on my TV, and the included DVD is a nice bonus for my old player in the bedroom. Having both discs in one case makes it easy to watch with friends who haven't upgraded yet.

Steven T. ★★★★★

The 1963 Yokohama setting comes through beautifully in the animation, and having both Blu-ray and DVD in one case is perfect for when I want to watch it on my laptop. The bonus features with the voice cast were a nice surprise, and the film itself just makes me feel warm every time.

Zoe L. ★★★★★

The Blu-ray transfer is gorgeous, with the seaside colors of 1963 Yokohama practically glowing on my TV, and the included DVD is a nice backup for travel. Watching this again, the mix of coming-of-age warmth and post-war rebuilding feels even more relevant now than when I first saw it.
