Perfect Blue [Blu-ray + DVD]

The transfer on this Blu-ray is stunningly crisp—Mima’s concert scenes really pop with color and detail, and the special features give a solid behind-the-scenes look at the voice-over process. I’ve watched it twice already and the psychological tension still hits hard.

The menu layout is clean and easy to navigate, which I appreciate when switching between the Blu-ray and DVD copies. The film's psychological tension really comes through in the high-definition transfer, especially in the darker concert scenes.

The dual-format setup is perfect—I watched the Blu-ray one night and lent the DVD to a friend who's still on an older player. Mima's descent into chaos is even more unsettling in crisp HD, and that recurring line about who she is hits harder every time.
