おおかみこどもの雨と雪 [Blu-ray]

The animation just glows on this Blu-ray—the forest scenes with Ame and Yuki are so crisp and vivid you can almost feel the rain. I’ve watched it twice already and still tear up at the ending.

I was a little worried this would feel dated, but the animation is so lush and the story of Hana raising Ame and Yuki pulls you right in. The Blu-ray's crisp picture really makes the forest scenes glow, and the emotional payoff hits just as hard on a rewatch.

The transfer quality on this Blu-ray is gorgeous—the rain-soaked forest scenes and soft watercolors really pop on my TV. Ame and Yuki’s story hit me harder than I expected, especially the quiet moments of Hana raising them alone.
